- El Instituto de Artes de Barcelona es una organización de educación superior y capacitación en las artes escénicas, reconocida a nivel mundial, que ofrece programas BA (Hons), Foundation y Masters en actuación, danza y teatro musical. Se caracteriza por la excelencia académica, profesores y tutores reconocidos internacionalmente, y el enfoque sobre la empleabilidad de sus estudiantes. Parten de la individualidad de sus estudiantes para desarrollar su creatividad y encontrar su propia voz como artistas, brindándoles todas las habilidades necesarias para tener éxito. Utilizan el método experiencial “aprender haciendo”, priorizan las prácticas rigurosas y la exposición temprana a audiencias. Cuentan con una amplia comunidad internacional, más de 50 nacionalidades diferentes que se unen con una misión: aprender sobre las artes escénicas. Tienen dos campus disponibles, el edificio princial del IAB y Mas Alba, ambos ubicados en Sitges, ciudad situada en la costa del Mediterraneo, en las afueras de Barcelona. El IAB es un entorno multinacional y multicultural que recluta estudiantes y personal de todo el mundo y se esfuerza por crear una cultura y una práctica de inclusión. El plan de estudios utiliza un amplio marco de referencias para permitir métodos de aprendizaje y enseñanza que garanticen que nadie se sienta excluido por la forma en que se entrega el contenido.
- The Barcelona Institute of Arts is a world-renowned organization for higher education and training in the performing arts, offering BA (Hons), Foundation and Masters programs in acting, dance and musical theatre. It is characterized by academic excellence, internationally recognized teachers and tutors, and a focus on the employability for its students. They start from the individuality of their students to develop their creativity and find their own voice as artists, giving them all the necessary skills to succeed. They use the experiential “learn by doing” method, prioritizing rigorous practices and early exposure to audiences. They have a large international community, more than 50 different nationalities that come together with a mission: to learn about the performing arts. They have two campuses available, the IAB main building and Mas Alba, both located in Sitges, a city located on the Mediterranean coast, on the outskirts of Barcelona. The IAB is a multinational, multicultural environment that recruits students and staff from around the world and strives to create an inclusive culture and practice. The curriculum uses a broad framework to enable learning and teaching methods that ensure that no one feels left out by the way content is delivered.
