- La Universidad Francisco de Vitoria nació en 1993, desde entonces, se ha convertido en la universidad privada de España con mayor crecimiento en los últimos 15 años. A día de hoy, tienen más de 50 grados y dobles grados, integrados en nueve facultades y escuelas: Comunicación, Jurídicas y Empresariales, Salud, Politécnica Superior, Educación y Psicología, Ciencias Experimentales, Medicina, Postgrado y Escuela Internacional de Postgrado. Cuenta con dos sedes universitarias en Madrid: el campus y la sede de la Escuela de Ingenieros en el MSI, con instalaciones pioneras, donde acogen diferentes centros e instituciones de formación, innovación y servicio como el Centro Universitario de Simulación Clínica Avanzada, el Centro de Simulación Quirúrgica, el Centro de Atención Integral a la Familia, Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior, el Instituto de Desarrollo Directivo Integral, la escuela de alta cocina Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, el Centro Deportivo UFV y el Colegio Mayor Francisco de Vitoria. La UFV nace con la convicción de que la institución universitaria debe ser “algo más” que formación profesional o preparación para el trabajo, son una universidad católica, lo que implica que su propuesta educativa parte de la convicción de que la verdad puede ser buscada, conocida y compartida. El método de enseñanza es formar para transformar, pretenden que los alumnos adquieran una mirada amplia y crítica y se conviertan así en excelentes profesionales, capaces de poner sus talentos al servicio de los demás y liderar el cambio que el mundo actual necesita.
- The Universidad Francisco de Vittoria was founded in 1993, since then it has become the fastest growing private university in Spain in the last 15 years. Today, they have more than 50 degrees and double degrees, integrated into nine faculties and schools: Communication, Law and Business, Health, Higher Polytechnic, Education and Psychology, Experimental Sciences, Medicine, Postgraduate and International Postgraduate School. It has two university campuses in Madrid: the campus and the headquarters of the School of Engineering at the MSI, with pioneering facilities, which house different centers and institutions for training, innovation and service, such as the University Center for Advanced Clinical Simulation, the Center for Surgical Simulation, the Comprehensive Family Care Center, Higher Education Training Cycles, the Comprehensive Management Development Institute, the Le Cordon Bleu Madrid haute cuisine school, the UFV Sports Center and the Francisco de Vitoria Residence Hall. The UFV was born with the conviction that the university institution must be “something more” than professional training or preparation for work. They are a Catholic university, which implies that their educational proposal is based on the conviction that the truth can be sought, known and shared. The teaching method is to train to transform, they aim for students to acquire a broad and critical perspective and thus become excellent professionals, capable of putting their talents at the service of others and leading the change that today’s world needs.
